Is a Language and Communication Program Right for You?

The Language and Communication Academic and Career Pathway prepares students to be creative and critical thinkers through effective written and oral communication skills. In addition, by studying languages, students gain a deeper understanding of the Latinx, Arabic, and deaf cultures through the context of their history and culture.

Careers in Language and Communication

Students in this academic pathway often transition into careers in business, law, teaching, public service, international relations, translation, writing/editing, journalism, and more. Specific positions may include public relations specialist, advertising manager, interpreter, copy writer, news reporter, educator, librarian, diplomat, lawyer, paralegal, government official, human resources specialist, corporate program manager, and more.
